 The technological advancements of the 21st century have not always been accompanied by a corresponding elevation in humanistic literacy. In light of the social responsibility that entrepreneurs should uphold, this course adopts a framework of ethics and humanistic care. It delves deeply into the dilemmas between corporate profits and social responsibility, external costs and distributive justice, self-interest and a caring conscience, as well as the debt incurred by the current generation and the burden inherited by the next. The course guides students to adopt entirely new perspectives, encouraging broader and deeper reflection on contemporary social phenomena and humanistic concerns.
