Admission Channels Information
Personal Application
- Qualifications: Must pass the General Scholastic Ability Test (GSAT) and High School English Listening Test standards.
- Application Method: Online registration. Candidates can apply for up to 6 departments.
- Selection Process: Multiple screening based on test scores, followed by uploading review materials and participating in the second-stage designated item tests/interviews.
Star Plan Admission
- Qualifications: Must study at the same high school for the entire duration, meet academic ranking percentage requirements, and pass the GSAT standard.
- Application Method: Registered as a group by the high school. Candidates are restricted to being recommended to one university and one subject group.
- Placement: Distributed based on the priority order of high school recommendations.
Chia-Star Project
- Target Applicants: Economically disadvantaged students (low-income, low-middle-income families), children of persons with disabilities, students from families in special circumstances, indigenous students, and families with no university students for three generations (e.g., new immigrants).
- Benefits: Priority admission quotas are reserved within the Personal Application channel. Additional subsidies are provided for interview fees and transportation.
Registration and Placement
- Qualifications: High school graduates or equivalent.
- Application Method: Online registration. Candidates can select up to 100 choices.
- Subject Weights: Admissions are based on the highest scores in specified subjects, such as Chinese, English, Math B, and the High School English Listening Test.

1 . Does the Business Administration Department learn everything but master nothing?
The curriculum of the Business Administration department focuses on internal corporate management. In terms of learning, in addition to giving students a basic understanding of the five major management fields of "Production, Marketing, Human Resources, R&D, and Finance," it is more important to cultivate students into excellent management professionals and generalists. After broad exposure to various fields, students can choose parts they are interested in to study further, so the learning aspects are not only broad, but the career paths are also highly diverse.

Department of Business Administration

6 . How to get to CCU?
🚗 By Car
- Via National Highway No. 1: Exit at the Minxiong Interchange → Drive towards Minxiong along the Minxiong Outer Ring Road (Minxin Rd) for about 1.9 km → After passing the Minxiong Overpass, turn left onto Provincial Highway 1 (600m) → Turn right onto Sec. 3, University Rd and drive 4.2 km to arrive at CCU.
- Via National Highway No. 3 (Northbound): Exit at the Zhuqi Interchange → Drive along County Road 166 towards Minxiong to arrive at CCU.
- Via National Highway No. 3 (Southbound): Exit at the Meishan Interchange → Drive along County Road 162 past the Dalin Township Office → Turn left onto Minsheng Rd and go straight → Turn left onto Damin North Rd → Turn left onto Township Road 106 and drive straight for about 5 minutes to arrive at CCU.
🚌 By Coach / Bus
- Solar Bus (日統客運): Depart from Taipei or Linkou directly to CCU.
- Taichung Bus (台中客運): Depart from Taichung or Caotun directly to CCU.
🚆 By Train (TRA)
- From TRA Chiayi Station: Transfer to Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Route 106 or Chiayi County Bus 7309 to CCU.
- From TRA Minxiong Station: Transfer to Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Route 106 or Chiayi County Bus 7306 to CCU. Alternatively, walk about 3 minutes to the Minxiong Longevity Hall (民雄長壽會館) and transfer to Chiayi County Bus 7309 to CCU.
🚄 By High-Speed Rail (THSR)
- From THSR Chiayi Station:
- Transfer to Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Route 106 directly to CCU.
- Take a taxi directly to CCU.
- Take the BRT shuttle bus to TRA Chiayi Station, then transfer to Chiayi County Bus 7309 to arrive at CCU.
