Sandwich Teaching Method

sandwich-method

We emphasize a "Theory–Practice–Theory" sandwich teaching method. By alternating between coursework and hands-on practice, students put theory into real-world application, achieving learning through doing—then, based on workplace experience, return to study and fill the gaps revealed in practice.

Compared with isolated on-campus learning or off-campus workplace training alone, this approach emphasizes the coordination and integration of the two, advancing theory and practice together. The main purpose of the sandwich method is to make learning more goal-oriented.

Year One, Fall & Spring Semesters

During this period, students receive thorough theoretical and case-study training and sharpen their communication and critical-reasoning abilities. This two-pronged approach helps students build the professional skills and business mindset of a "marketer."

Summer Before Year Two

Based on each student's interests and aspirations, industry preferences, and personality traits, we guide students in preparing their résumés for corporate internships.

Through hands-on industry training, students gain firsthand understanding of the professional environment and develop according to their aptitudes, while further confirming whether "what they are currently learning matches the competencies required in industry."

Year Two, Fall & Spring Semesters

After gaining a deeper understanding of their career direction and competency needs through the internship, students return to campus.

Paired with the "Marketing Project" course offered in the fall of Year Two, students exchange internship experiences and insights with one another, engage in in-depth discussions with professors about competency issues, gain career advice, and thereby strengthen their own abilities.
